5 months (already?!) that we came back in France. It's impressive how short and long it may seem at the same time ! Many times, people asked us the question: "Is it not too hard to come back ?" Or "How is it to go back to real life?" Or "How is the return to reality ?"… Why ? Have we lived a dream ? A false life ? Was it just a parenthesis ? No,
during these last 4 years, we can say that we really lived our LIFE,
when we were on the roads or sedentary as well, and it is now that we
intend to continue ! We have discovered ways that became life choices, values we have made ours and desires that move us forward. We
are still on the road although sometimes stopped, blocked,
frustrated... But did not we learn that a breakdown requires its repair
time to leave
stronger and better ? A
big difference though, we loved to make detours during these last 4
years, whereas today we want to live our life without detour !

A wonder that we love ! |

The winter is never very far... |
We temporarly have a base camp in Albi, since we came back in France. As soon as we arrived, we started to work, 4 days after having landed in Toulouse. It was from here that Alex was able to go back every week to new job sites as rope access technical or as welding controller. We can tell you that "micro-entrepreneur" in France seemed very complicated compared to what we knew on the other side of the Atlantic !He have always hit the road with our faithful motorized companion, the only one we could count on again and again. More than 4 months it is back in France and it has already taken 17000 kilometers more ! But as it began to show some signs of weakness, it was time to properly take care of it so it could work stronger than ever. But how to do otherwise than to ride with when we had no choice, even though its native country does not allow it to have the technical
control because of some rust spots ?? Need it to go to work, work to take care of it... We've clenched our buttocks on the roads until now, especially Alex, between a lack of technical control and a lapsed insurance contract... And we finally could consider buying a car to be able to put our Toyota to rest, to treat it and to take care of our euros, which were spinning quickly with hundreds of liters of diesel... When we think about our complains few months ago when we complained about the Argentine prices with an average of 0.85 cents per diesel liter. We can tell you that here, in France, our Toyota is going really bad !

Working partner... |
|
Companion of everyday, always... But our Toyota is looking for its freedom ! |
Back in France, we are considered again as young drivers because we have not driven in France in recent years... But despite this, we recently found a family car ! A car, big enough to put a mattress and sleep in it. A car, comfortable enough to make long roads by halving the consumption of diesel compared to our Toyota... This is not a bad thing because consuming 12L / 100, our Toyota is really not for France ! Same for us when a big part of our budget to live is only to pay diesel ! Itis true that our needs before coming back were simple : eat and feed our Toyota but back in France, we have to multiply the budget by 5 at least, a luxury ! Returning penniless, it takes a few months for us to start to get out of the water ! But we start to breathe a little, finally. It was necessary because since our return, we have just spent 9 days only together, that did not allow us to recover good energy ! Not easy when, month after month, our little clandestine conceived in South America, fully develops in his warm and cosy nest before asking for all our availability in February !

Rocamadour sublimated by the sunset colours |

In the early morning, the balloons ballet can begin ! |
|
And the dancers animate the city ! |
We are preparing for the landing of a little traveler ! We always said that we left France with 4 feet and 4 wheels, but we always forgot to count our spare wheels... So we went back with 6 wheels and 6 feet ! Conceived in Uruguay, Chilean of heart and future Canadian, our little man is invited in the great adventure of our life and he will damn revolutionize it ! So far, he is already well embarked on our little French journeys, during our beautiful days hiking in our dear Pyrenees, and during our moments of
wonder like for example the balloon festival in Rocamadour or, other kind of event, during the races in Albi circuit !

An other kind of show : Midjet ! |
|
Drift battle |
|
And to finish, the trucks race ! |
We wish you a great fall !
See you soon !
The Galopères
Such a beautiful story, sweet as honey, even perhaps translated into English by Google! I love "our little clandestine conceived"! But what? Future Canadian? That would be lovely! I'm so glad I met you two at Lake Louise and have followed you on FB! Congratulations and good luck on your new adventure!
